Leaning into Grief  **UPDATE : FULL

4 week series

This offering is not only about the grief of losing a loved one. This is about all the various ways we experience and integrate loss in this lifetime. It is about the initiations of grief that are continually shaping us.

This is an opportunity to open a space, create a container for community, and listen deeply.

In this series, participants will:

᯽Be invited to see grief as a sacred practice.

᯽Enhance our engagement with our own life and that of our communities and ancestors by "doing the work" of befriending our grief.

᯽Engage in experiential practices during the class, and maintain the container between the sessions by developing ritual practices to sit with aspects of our grief.

᯽Experience deep sharing and inquiry, with space to be heard and supported.

Over the course of our time together, we will use the tools of breathwork, writing, and ritual to:

Honour our resistance to our own vulnerability and the seasonal invitation to slow down

Share our emotional selves to bring us into the arms of the sacred

Deepen our trust in our emotional and body wisdom

Cultivate poetic imagination to encourage our entry into the well of grief

Explore grief’s allies, such as anger, emptiness, and numbness

Make a refuge for gratitude and rest

I will share tools and resources from my experience as a trained BC Bereavement Helpline Facilitator and End of Life Doula.
